During a session on Incentives for Biopharmaceutical Innovation, we will discuss with US scholars, Kirk W. Kerr (from FDA), Richard Manning and Frederic Selck (from Bates White) how does intellectual property protection influence biotechnology investment decisions? I will discuss with colleagues if the Orphan Drug (OD) market exclusivity (ME) extend or not the drug patent monopoly.
