Journées GSO: médecine de précision

For 3 days, the scientific community of researchers and clinicians from the “Cancéropôle Grand Sud-Ouest” met at the Futuroscope Convention Center in Poitiers. On this occasion, we animated with Gilles Favre, a session on “Precision medicine: to go where?”. After an introduction by Fabrice André, Professor at the Gustave Roussy Institute on predictive biomarkers and new therapeutic strategies in oncology, we asked 2 social scientists to present their point of view: Sophie Day, Professor of Anthropology at the University of London on the reality of precision medicine in London hospitals, and Isabelle Durand-Zaleski, Professor of Health Economics at the AP-HP on the economic dimensions of diagnostics in precision medicine.
