Health has no price, but a cost

My colleague Dolorès Albarracin, lecturer in psychology at the University of Poitiers is organizing an interdisciplinary day at the MSHS on the question of the “price of healing”. Advances in medicine have dramatically increased the survival of people with cancer. However, few works are devoted to the challenges of healing, as much from the subjective point of view (clinical healing, psychic healing), as philosophical or socio-economic. In this context, I am invited to discuss the “cost of health innovation: at what price in oncology?”
